especially the freezing morning drizzle...mmm....
~Mitchell D. Wilson~
Falling Down, pooling up,
Out of the sky, into my cup.
What is this wet that comes from above,
That some call disaster, and others find love.
The harder it falls, the less it is nice,
The colder it falls the harder the ice.
The rain has an art that I may not get,
So I stand still here and get soaking wet.

I feel so complete
when I’m in the rain,
I feel no sorrow I feel no pain,
I may give me a cold but I don’t care, There’s a calming sensation from grass to air,
The feeling of love I don’t have,
I will gain,
Because my heart falls open as I stand in the rain.
Rain drops falling in my head,
and never knowing when it will end.
Should I run for cover,
or let another rain drop fall in my head again?
I would love to dance in the rain,
and knowing somehow it’ll help erase the pain.
Sometimes when I’m all alone,
and I see rain drops are falling outside again.
There’s happiness that I feel
Rain Rain Rain,
Up above from the skies,
You come,
As drops of joy,
As drops of sorrow,
As a shower of blessing from the heavens.
Rain Rain Rain,
Pitter patter pitter patter,
On the window panes,T
hunder and lightning fill up the skies,
Creating an orchestral symphony.
Rain Rain Rain,
With wind, sun and clouds,
Seven colors you bring together,
And joy in our hearts.
Rain Rain Rain,
A miracle
The clouds are forming
She comes again
I'll go and walk with her
Along the Seine
Soon she'll be storming
Here comes the wind
But that don't bother me
‘Cause she's my friend
I love the rainI love the rain
I've held our memories
All of these years
So many good times
And many tears
I share my dreams with her
I share my fearsS
o I just walk with her until she veers
Off in the distance
I love the rain
I love the rain
I loveI loveI love the rain
OhJust as she always does
She has to leave
With her she takes my heart
Into her breeze
Sometimes I think that she
Just likes to tease
Still I'll be waiting
For her reprise
I love the rain
